Remote Control Follows Your Plan

The app itself is not restricted, and neither are the general live controls or effect stacks. A few areas depend on your licence, and the app hides what your plan does not cover rather than letting you press it and fail.

What needs which plan

DJ Mode deck, playlist and track control, and Live Wire mode and Hold, need Standard or Pro. Console cue stacks and cue faders, which belong to the Programmer, need Pro. Effect stacks are not restricted.

Upgrades apply immediately

If your plan changes while the app is open, connected apps are told straight away, instead of staying locked out of what you have just paid for until they reconnect.

The app knows what the desk can do

The desk now reports a remote feature level alongside its version, so the app offers the controls that desk actually supports rather than guessing.

Everything stays in step

Change a control in one place and the desk, the web remote and any connected app all update to match, including QuickShow effects started or stopped remotely.

Also fixed in v1.0.52

• Colour overrides sent from the app are now remembered.
• A colour palette chosen on the app now shows its name and its selection when the same cue point is opened on the desk. The right colour always fired, it just looked unconfigured.
• A preset containing a variant effect started correctly but left the button dark, so the desk looked idle while the effect ran.
• A Live Edit raised automatically when the music stops now shows as lit on phones and on controller pads, instead of the rig and the controller disagreeing for the whole break.
