The story of DMXDesktop begins with a simple love for lighting effects. Tired of struggling to find great venues especially those with captivating lighting - we found ourselves diving deep into the world of lighting fixtures and making our own events!

As our collection of lights grew, so did our frustration with the available control systems. Whether it was high-end, expensive professional setups, or mobile apps and standalone controllers, none truly met our needs. They either lacked flexibility, ease of use, or the ability to craft effects beyond the auto-mode limitations of the fixtures themselves. Not to mention, they tended to look & feel like software from the 80s!

After countless trials of software and hardware solutions, we realized the DMX world was missing something crucial: a comprehensive yet user-friendly DMX control system for everyone. It wasn't just about the professionals at massive concert venues. It was about enthusiasts, wedding DJs, bar and club owners, and anyone passionate about lighting design.
