Ableton Link Integration
Seamless synchronization between your lighting effects and music
DMXDesktop seamlessly integrates with Ableton Link, a technology developed by Ableton that synchronizes musical beat, tempo, and phase across multiple applications and devices over a local network. This integration allows for effortless synchronization between your lighting effects and music, enhancing live performances and creative sessions.
DMXDesktop never sends Link messages out and will never change the BPM of your session, you can rest assured that we have made great strides to ensure our integration is as seamless as possible whilst giving you the power to time your lights to whatever supported app you integrate.
Enable the Service
You can enable the service via the Audio Config tab in the Settings page.
Message Log
Once enabled, you can see a log of messages coming into the system so you can be sure your integration is active and your receiving the correct BPM data from your session.
Live Footer Update
You will also see a live update in the Footer (if the footer has been enabled in the Settings -> General)
